Three days of flowers and plants in the castle

29th of april – 1st of may, 2016 – The monumental 19th century park of Masino Castle is once again hosting the great exhibition and market of unusual flowers and plants, garden equipment and furniture, organised by FAI (the Italian National Trust) under the careful direction of the architect Paolo Pejrone, founder and President of the Piemonte Academy of the Garden.

The Plaster Museum

The Plaster Museum, 5 km away from the B&B Il Bricco, shows the numerous examples of the use of this material. The museum is located in Moncuccos castle, a tipical Lower Monferrato village, which has an excellent Freisa cellar.

The Vezzolano Abbey

 The Vezzolano Abbey, or better, the vicarage of Santa Maria di Vezzolano, is an architectonic jewel which makes worth a visit. “It was part of an important monastic complex, also named in a 1095 document. The buildings which where part of the monastery that arrived till now are the church, the colonnade and the chapter house”.

Truffle local fair 12/13th of November, 2016

In the charming frame of Turin’s hills, for the past twenty years the second weekend of november is dedicated to the typical product of the territory: the Tuber Magnatum Pico, or better, the Refined White Truffle. Since 2012 the White Truffle Fair of Torino’s Hills has obtained the “National” qualification!
